‘The Lady In Brown’
‘The Lady In Brown, Arts Centre Devizes Road Swindon. A lady wearing brown has been seen in the gallery bar, on the stairs and actually in the seats towards the rear of the auditorium. My only unexplained experience, was about 10 year ago, I was one, of a few staff left in the British Rail works main offices in Swindon, which had been occupied since the 1840/50′s by railway men.I entered an office, and closed the door, after a few moments, I heard a knock, and said come in, but no one did, I opened the door, expecting to see someone there, but there was no one, and looked up and down the corridor, but there was no one in sight??
This was not first time that strange happenings had been noted at this spot, Security staff on night duty had also heard and seen strange things at this spot.The offices are now the home of the National Monuments Records collection, And I have no knowledge of anything else that may of happened in there to the present day.

Are you experiencing something strange in your home from the sound of footsteps, knockings or some other unexplained phenomenon.

one of the rooms in my house, the main bedroom, i think is haunted. anything plalced on the bedside drawers/table thing is always moved elsewhere when i wake up in the morning and sometimes there’s only me in the house if my husband is out at work (he works shifts including nights) and its not me moving the things. also one area of the room, by the window, always goes freezing cold at around 11:15pm even if the windows are open, however it’s only cold for around an hour then if warms up again. also we have heard footsteps coming from upstairs when everyone is downstairs and it’s not noisy neighbours or anything because they are nearly always out. its really weird, ive tried convincing myself that it’s just me going mad but i can’t completely convince myself that that’s what it is

I work as a carer at Lydaid Millencent, Swindon. The time was approximately 22.15pm when I saw the ghostly apparition of two women dressed in white nightwear with white bonnets. As I drew closer they apeared to walked out of view into an hedge.
I was working with another carer just a few days ago and I said nothing about this experience. It wasn’t until we were driving down the same stretch of road close to the time of my experience when all of a sudden the carer screamed out and told me what she had just experienced. Her story tallied up with mine. There is also another carer who has now spoken out who’s seen the same thing . We saw this in the area of lydaid house would love to hear from you as this is the first time that I’ve seen anything like this and can’t get it out of my mind, thanks.

Sorry, but I don’t know the area of Lydaid Millicent, Swindon or the whereabouts of this house, so I’m unable to help you.
Its difficult to know from your email what you both experienced but from what I’m able to gather, it looks as if you both may of witnessed place memory.
Place memory also known as residual experiences. Paranormal experiences like these can be thought of as watching a repeat of a TV show, advert or listening to a passage in a song over and over on your ipod
It can also be thought of as a recording of time itself.
There is also the possibility of an natural conclusion. Basically, unnatural environmental conditions or a fluctuation in the earth’s electromagnetic or geomagnetic energy can effect brain function and produce subjective experiences, but I’m a little skeptical of that conclusion as there were two witnesses, on two different occasions, who witnessed the same event.
