Many People who have travelled along the A363, Approaching the area of The Fox and Hounds have all witnessed the ghostly presents of a women in a raincoat with a dark maroon hood suddenly step out in to road in front of them. ‘Black Monk’
The king arms once a manor house, and created by monks, was once property of a monastery. One monk that worked at the building was found dead in what is now the bar and now his ghost has been seen to walk out of the public house and vanishes when his apparition opens a door to a small building at the spring.
